Why is the monkey mad?

It wasn’t long ago that we woke up one day and thought to ourselves – We suck…

We’re just average urbanites, living in middle class homes, driving middle class cars, working hard, playing as much as we can, and pretty much hanging out and living it up. Life is not perfect, nor even idealic, but it’s not bad either. If we complained, we’d be pretty damn greedy. It’s not exactly a life of excess, but we certainly weren’t making a positive impact on the world. Quite frankly, we’re not that interested in saving the world, our cynicism runs a little too deep for that. But something was missing.

Although we don’t go out of our way to abuse the world, we weren’t helping it either. And just by living in it without helping it, you’re adding to the damage without off setting your indulgences. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.So we looked around and thought: What do we care about?

Well we’re all married (sorry ladies), have lots of great friends and some family we actually get along with really well. We don’t have kids, but getting to that age where we are starting to think about it. That’s when it hit us…we need to do something if not for us then our children and our children’s children…ENTER THE MONKEY!
